VIRTUAL THERAPY THROUGHOUT KENTUCKY & OHIO
Therapy for Adults in Kentucky & Ohio
A place to understand what shaped you—and what this season may be asking of you.
You may be the person others depend on.
Capable. Responsible. Thoughtful.
And quietly exhausted.
Perhaps you are making sense of ADHD, carrying the effects of trauma, rebuilding life in recovery, navigating relationship strain, or realizing that the ways you learned to survive are no longer helping you live wholeheartedly.
Adult therapy at Lionheart offers space to slow down, understand the story beneath the patterns, and consider what meaningful change could look like in this season.
You May Recognize Yourself Here
You may be:
— Discovering ADHD or neurodivergence later in life
— Carrying chronic stress, burnout, or the weight of overfunctioning
— Noticing how trauma continues to shape your emotions, relationships, or sense of safety
— Building a meaningful life beyond addiction or another difficult chapter
— Navigating grief, leadership fatigue, relationship strain, or a significant transition
— Wondering who you are beyond performance, responsibility, or survival
You do not need to choose the perfect label before reaching out.
We will begin by understanding what is happening and what kind of support may best serve you.
Areas of Support for Adults
Adult ADHD & Neurodivergence
Understand how your brain works, honor your strengths, and develop practical strategies that support everyday life.
Chronic Stress, Burnout & Overfunctioning
When your strengths have become your survival strategy, therapy can help you reconnect with healthier rhythms rooted in identity rather than constant performance.
Recovery & Restoration
Recovery isn’t simply about leaving something behind. It’s about building the next chapter with greater clarity, purpose, and wholehearted living.
Trauma & Story Integration
Understand how painful experiences continue to shape your present while moving toward greater freedom, integration, and hope.
Ongoing Counseling or a Therapy Intensive?
Some seasons benefit from the steady rhythm of ongoing counseling.
Others deserve more concentrated time and space.
The Wholehearted Journey offers personalized therapy intensives for significant transitions, ministry or leadership renewal, recovery, discernment, and other seasons that may benefit from focused work.
You do not need to determine the right format on your own. During your consultation, we can consider which rhythm of care best serves your story.
Understanding Before Direction
Therapy at Lionheart begins with: “Help me understand.”
We first learn your story, strengths, and protective patterns before using strategies. My approach is relational, trauma‑informed, and evidence‑based, drawing on CBT, DBT skills, narrative therapy, attachment and family‑systems perspectives, and practical problem‑solving. I assess and diagnose ADHD when appropriate.
If Christian faith matters to you, it can be included; if not, care remains compassionate and values‑centered.
