QUESTIONS ABOUT THERAPY AT LIONHEART
Frequently Asked Questions
Beginning counseling often starts with questions.
Whether you're considering therapy for the first time or returning after previous counseling, it's natural to wonder what to expect.
If your question isn't answered below, I'd be happy to talk with you during a complimentary consultation.
Beginning Counseling
-
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from counseling.
Many people begin therapy because they're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, navigating a major transition, or simply curious about patterns they'd like to understand more deeply.
If you're wondering whether counseling could help, that's often a good place to begin.
-
You don't have to know exactly what you need before reaching out.
A complimentary consultation is simply a conversation where we'll explore what's bringing you here and discern together what kind of support best fits your season.
-
Many clients come to Lionheart after previous counseling.
Sometimes they are looking for a fresh perspective. Sometimes they're entering a new season of life. Sometimes they simply want to go deeper.
Our work begins with understanding your story rather than assuming where you've been or where you should go next.
-
Every meaningful journey begins with a conversation.
Begin on the Start Here page, where you can learn what to expect and schedule a complimentary consultation. We'll answer your questions, talk about your goals, and determine together what best fits this season of your life.

If faith is not an important part of your life, you will still receive compassionate, evidence-based care centered on your goals.

Lionheart Counseling is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.
