For Adults, Couples, Families & Adolescents
Counseling Services in Kentucky & Ohio
Thoughtful care for the season you're living.
No two stories are exactly alike.
While every person's journey is unique, many people find themselves navigating similar seasons of life. You may be making sense of ADHD, carrying the weight of chronic stress, rebuilding after addiction, healing from trauma, strengthening relationships, or simply wondering who you're becoming.
Whatever brings you here, therapy at Lionheart begins the same way:
With curiosity.
With compassion.
With a desire to understand your story before deciding where to go next.
Every Story Deserves to Be Understood
At Lionheart Counseling, I don't begin by asking,
“What's wrong?”
I begin by asking,
“Help me understand.”
People make sense within the stories they've lived.
Together, we'll explore the relationships, experiences, strengths, and patterns that have shaped your life while considering what this season may be inviting you toward.
Therapy isn't about becoming someone different.
It's about becoming more fully who you were created to be.
Explore Your Path
Care at Lionheart is organized around who is seeking support and the amount of space this season may need.
You do not have to determine the perfect service before reaching out. These pathways simply offer a place to begin.
Adult Therapy
Adult therapy offers space to understand the story beneath the patterns, develop practical tools, and move toward a life that feels more sustainable and true.
Adult ADHD & Neurodivergence
Understand how your brain works, release unnecessary shame, and develop strategies that support everyday life.
Chronic Stress, Burnout & Overfunctioning
Explore the cost of carrying too much and cultivate healthier rhythms rooted in identity rather than constant responsibility.
Trauma & Story Integration
Understand how painful experiences continue to shape the present while moving toward greater safety, connection, and freedom.
Recovery & Restoration
Build a meaningful life beyond addiction by strengthening identity, relationships, purpose, boundaries, and hope.
Couples & Families
Every relationship develops patterns.
Some bring people closer. Others leave them feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or caught in the same painful conversations.
Couples and family therapy creates space to slow down, understand the stories and needs beneath the conflict, rebuild trust, and develop healthier ways of relating.
The goal is not to decide who is right or wrong. It is to help everyone become more curious, honest, and connected.
Children & Teens
Children and teens deserve a place where they can feel safe, understood, and supported without being reduced to a behavior or diagnosis.
Care is developmentally responsive and includes parents or caregivers as thoughtful partners. The goal is not to make the therapist a pipeline between child and parent, but to strengthen safety, communication, and trust within the family.
Areas of support include:
Neurodivergent Adolescents & Teens
Support identity, emotional regulation, executive functioning, relationships, and everyday life.
Trauma-Focused CBT for Children & Teens
Evidence-based trauma treatment that thoughtfully involves children, teens, and supportive caregivers.
Ministry Kids & Third Culture Kids
Support belonging, identity, transitions, faith, family expectations, grief, and life between different communities or cultures.
Therapy Intensives
Some seasons deserve more space than a weekly counseling session can comfortably provide.
The Wholehearted Journey offers personalized therapy intensives for significant transitions, ministry or leadership renewal, recovery, discernment, and other pivotal seasons that may benefit from focused, intentional care.
Every journey begins with a secure inquiry and an extended complimentary consultation. Together, we will consider whether an intensive is the right fit and begin shaping the experience around your goals, story, and season.
Not Sure Where to Begin?
You do not need to know which service fits before reaching out. A complimentary consultation is simply a conversation—not a commitment or test. Together, we can explore what is no longer working, answer your questions, and consider whether ongoing counseling, a therapy intensive, or another resource may best serve this season.
You simply need a place to begin.
I would be honored to meet you there with compassionate curiosity, clinically excellent care, and the hope that comes from being deeply understood.
